"Telemachus" Selected in the "MCM FilmFest in Holland: One way to return to the city of Venlo ...

Today, May 9, exactly four years ago I was walking with my father through the streets of Venlo, a beautiful city in the Netherlands. The reason was that the day after the Sevilla played the final of the UEFA against Middlesbrough in Eindhoven but we decided to go a few days before, so you can do some sightseeing in the Netherlands besides going to the Final (also had gone to Amsterdam). The place seemed nice and cozy, also made us almost summer time (26 degrees Celsius to be exact, as seen in photo). The truth is that we spent some great days in Holland, but as both already knew Amsterdam and Eindhoven seemed an industrial city, which for them was the real discovery of the trip (apart from what it was like discovering that your team win a title) was to know and spend a day in Venlo.

So when I learned that my short film "Telemachus " has been selected in official competition of the "International Festival Venlo Short ", has given me great joy, because to me it is a way back to a place that I have a great memory and because I am excited that "Telemachus " know this particular location. I also called my father because I knew I was going to make a big illusion. And, it has been four years now, that trip, but remember it quite often. Hopefully the people of Venlo like it as much as my short film me and my father liked Venlo.

Regarding the Festival which has been selected, the " Filmest MCM "," International Short Film Festival Venlo, this year celebrates its sixth edition. And be held from 17 to 19 June. This is the 86th selection to get " Telemachus , the second in the Netherlands, after obtained in the "International Film Festival Breda ." Another reason to have a good memory of the city of Venlo.
