I think hope is not always a virtue as I thought it sometimes .. drives you to continue with goals and dreams without sense, that not even worth it. You blind to see things as they truly are, it forces you to see the good and not bad being q bad when put in the balance, weighs more. It makes you a coward and deny you the chance to breathe another air, to explore in another northern perhaps less exhausting, and even "maybe" it becomes a shield when it all falls to keep trying, and keep fighting and keep pretending ... I do not think the solution is pessimistic, but be realistic and have the courage to say no was, lost, failed, finished.
